Small nettle
Small nettle has wound-healing, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties which have been associated with glycosides and skin-tissue growth-promoting proteins. It has therefore been compared to antibiotics. Anti-rheumatic and antiallergic effects have also been reported as well as a beneficial effect on arthritis, eczema and gout. It helps to fight cancer as well. Small nettle has antioxidant properties. Traditionally, it was used for thousands of years as a blood purifier, as a natural remedy for baldness, acne, allergies, insect bites and eczema and even to fight cancer. Small nettle is especially common and used among the people of the Karagöl plateau in Turkey.
