Detailed description:
Calendula flower is used to treat skin scratches, sunburns, frostbite, burns, insect bites and warts. Carotenoids have a regenerative effect on wounds or sores while flavonoids together with terpenes have an anti-inflammatory effect. Fast-absorbing grapeseed oil moisturises, softens and prevents signs of ageing. The polyunsaturated fatty acids of rapeseed oil promote ceramide synthesis and collagen production in the skin, thereby maintaining a healthy skin barrier. Rapeseed oil also contains vitamin E, a beneficial antioxidant for the skin which improves oxygen exchange in skin cells and strengthens capillaries.
